Well another weekend in Abilene has come and gone. I am looking forward to spending time back in Tennessee on the lake!

This weekend was nothing exciting by any means. Friday went and played golf but like the last few times I’ve been it was over 100 degrees. This makes playing a little more difficult but not impossible. It’s really amazes me how much better you get playing golf if you play more often not that I am good now just better than I was. After golf got some food and went back to my apartment for the night.

With Friday being exciting as it was I decided to take it easy Saturday. I found a public auction company here in town so I went and hung out at that for a while. It was too hot to stand in the sun and not buy anything so I went for a drive. Just drove around town taking in the sights. Went out to the lake and checked that out. One thing that’s kind of strange is there are not really any houses on the lake. Don’t get me wrong there are a few but nothing like it would back on Norris. After that I just took some turns and ended up on a gravel road then a dirt road and kept going till I found my friend Mr. Longhorn. When that got old I headed home for a night of watching TV.

Sunday was a long day with nothing to do. I was so board that I went had had my car washed then I spent an hour waxing the thing. If you know me slightly you know that is not something I enjoy. The weekend ended with nothing eventful happening. I am ready for the week to be done with so that I may be back in the hills of Tennessee.

Going to be camping at the lake like always give me a call and come on out.
